1. No spamming. Although WordPress does come equipped with a high-powered spam filter that gets of most of it, any spam comments will be deleted.
2. Please do not put your contact information in a comment. If you want me to contact directly, please either friend me on facebook, or send me an email at village_thinking@yahoo.com.
3. Comments must be on-topic. Publishing a comment that is not related to the article will result in automatic deletion. Same with threadjacking a discussion in relation to an article. Keep it up and you will be added to the block list.
4. I reserve the right to edit comments for length/content/language. If you don’t want it edited, be concise, stay on topic, and don’t use the F-word.
5. Comments containing ad hominem attacks on other commenters will be deleted. Ad hominem attacks on the author will result in your name automatically being added to the block list. No exceptions.
6. No trolling and no flaming. Engaging in those behaviors will get you added to the block list faster than you can say, “banhammer”.
7. Because this does happen periodically, please know that attempts at intimidation and/or threats of assault, property damage, death, etc., will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agencies. And I’ll get out the banhammer.
